Beautiful Jaguar Sports Car. Lovingly cared for and maintained. Garaged. Even the original top is in excellent condition. Runs great. No rust.

I am moving in the next 8 weeks and have decided to sell my 1999 Jaguar XK8. This car has an original 76855 miles. It has been kept in a garage almost all of it's life. I have a lot of service records and most of the original paperwork since the car was new. I also have two keys and key fobs. It still retains the original leather portfolios, trunk tool kit, and original spare rim. One of the previous owners was Bill Maher. I will take additional pictures when the weather permits of the top down and interior. As typical with these, the back seat and passenger seats are in great condition. The driver's seat has the typical wear on the bolster and side. The door panels are great, as well as the steering wheel and wood veneer. The power seats work as they should, as does all of the electrical door locks, mirrors, cruise control, pedals and windows. The windows are nice and clear and the top does not leak. When I purchased it, it had developed a leak in the top latch hydraulic mechanism (another common problem with these). The pump and lines were drained and the top does not currently operate automatically. You can operate it manually, which I never do. It is a gorgeous, gorgeous deep gold color exterior and the paint is in very good condition. The only sign of any fading is a slight fade on the rear bumper cover, towards the lower left, underneath the license plate area. This spring the ABS light came on (probably from sitting all winter and needs the sensors cleaned). It does not affect the driving of this car as I just took it across the state for over 4 hours without a single issue. The stereo also quick working. The AC blows cold and the heat works great! The tires are almost new on the car. This car runs, drives, and shifts smoothly without hesitation. With very little, this car could be a beautiful and fun show car. 20 years old and these are getting to be very collectible. With just about any 20 year old car, it is offered As-Is, Where-Is with no warranty or guarantee expressed or implied. It is in wonderful shape for the age, however; I do not represent it as a new car. There will be small dings, dents, and scratches. The pictures were taken today, however; do not reveal every possible flaw. Please be responsible and make inspections before bidding. I absolutely appreciate your personal inspection before taking the vehicle and understand if you wish to change your mind. Once the vehicle leaves my possession it is yours. I will expect a $300 deposit within 24 hours of auction end. The balance will be paid within 7 days of auction end. The 1st owner was an executive at Jaguar. This car is in absolute mint condition. The color is Anthracite Metallic. It's almost a graphite color. Same with the inside, almost dark charcoal.Words can not describe the shape this jaguar is in. All original paint. Also has navigation with an updated 2012 CD. I purchased the car from a very well known business man and friend. His wife was the 2nd owner of the car. They stopped using the car in 2012 when she became pregnant. He still continued to take the car in for service. I think a total of 300 miles were put on the car in 7 years. The top hydraulics were just replaced with lines from cabriolet Hydraulics.They have the strongest lines in the industry , they will last forever. I have photo documentation of the whole process of replacing the lines. Its easy to say the hydraulics have been replaced but to see all the pictures of the installation is another thing. When I acquired the car this winter, I figured it would be a nice project for my son and I. When it arrived I was shocked, it was perfect. The only project I could do on it was update the tensioners and timing chain, which I did. I also just put in an aluminum thermostat housing. This is a xk8 you can get in and drive knowing all the weak points have been fixed The car is like new inside and out. The top is also in mint condition. I have all manuals, 3 keys-2 regular and 1 green jaguar key. Also included is the boot cover and net in the trunk.
